bride and groom looking into each others eyes

Ranie and Ben | Wedding Film

Ranie + Ben– what can I say? You know when you meet someone and their presence just washes a wave of calm over you, and it almost feels like you’ve been friends forever? That’s Ben and Ranie. And crafting a wedding film that shared that was so special.

Two of the kindest and most fun people I’ve had the pleasure of working with, and I had such a great time documenting their special day and creating a film to honor their love story.

These two got married at Fort Worth’s BRIK venue, in the hear of the Near Southside neighborhood. Brimming with eclectic charm, the industrial venue boasts original features and accents that will have you falling in love with warmth and texture. I’m so glad I got to capture a wedding film here, because this place needs to be showed OFF! What a gorgeous space that perfectly pairs the industrial and intimate aesthetics so perfectly.

Ranie + Ben story is awesome– a covid ICU nurse meets a firefighter (who specializes in arson investigation !) and they fall in love. I’m sorry but have you ever heard of a more selfless couple?

“…a Covid ICU nurse meets a firefighter and they fall in love.”

Speaking of selfless, it’s not just the career of these two that will have you happy crying. During the first look and private vow reading, it was obvious that this was true love. When you meet two people who love so selflessly and just want to serve and give to the other person; THAT is special.

Ben and Ranie shared a special first look where they shared private vows and a prayer together. The weight of this moment and the power of the emotion was so strong. I’m not saying I was also crying but there may have been something in my eye at that exact moment.

The ceremony was held in the afternoon on the upper level of BRIK, and let me tell you the afternoon light was incredible. Imagine golden hour plus white brick walls plus historic hardwood floors– now THAT is a moment! I loved being able to capture the love and warmth that was felt, and the space definitely amplified that.

At ceremony time, the guests were asked to stay seated when Ranie entered, and only stand when she had passed their row which I thought was SO cool. This gave everyone the opportunity to see her walking down the aisle, without being blocked by others!

After the ceremony, I headed outside with Trish and Andy of Beatbox Portraits to capture some amazing sunset portraits. This is one of my favorite parts of the day, and with Ben and Ranie it was no exception! Seeing them take in the moment and have some alone time to decompress was awesome to witness.

We wrapped up our portrait time on a freaking roof and let me tell you Texas showed OFF that night!! It was seriously one of those out-of-the-ordinary sunsets that I like to believe is the universe celebrating the marriage of two amazing people.

Ranie, Ben, and their loved ones danced the night away with the help from THE Dan Quinn of DQB Entertainment, honestly a master at his craft. Ben and Ranie shared a private dance before their exit, and departed the venue with a gorgeous, fun sparkler exit.

All of my couples hold a special place in my heart, and Ranie and Ben certainly earned their spot! They were a blast to capture, and I felt so much love throughout their day. It was such an honor to celebrate with them and craft their wedding film.

Ranie and Ben– I hope to find a love some day as strong and beautiful as yours. I love y’all!

Cheers to the Coopers!✨🥂
